Native planting design using ground cover plants to supporess weeds and provide an attractive, multi-layered understory planting. New Zealand Sand Daphne and prostrate fuchsia are used here.

Mark specialises in creating beautiful and comfortable spaces in windy coastal environments. His planting knowlege anables him to ensure the garden looks good all-year-round with minimal maintenance.
Mark's unique hand drawing style communicates the character of the garden and shows how the house is integrated into the landscape. The landscape connects and coordinates all of the separate spaces, buildings and pathways of a property.

Mark is based in Wellington and the Rangitīkei and works throughout Aotearoa New Zealand including Central Otago, Nelson, Marlborough, Taupō and Auckland.
