Raumati Beach Garden

Large family lawn areas coupled with lush, bold New Zealand native planting provide sheltered and private spaces for the family to play and relax.

This garden needed to be bold and robust to balance the large house and expansive coastal views.

Intimate and sheltered spaces for the family to gather and enjoy the view while maintaining privacy and shelter.

Chunky timber and pre-cast concrete elements provide robust and characterful access and elevated viewing platforms

Floating steps using cantilevered precast concrete with native coastal planting.

Precast concrete walls retain along the boundary, leading the eye out to sea while providing a generous lawn.
